How I begin creating a product

I actually start back to front!

Before I make a new product I look at who my customers are and how I can create a product to suit them best, before I even start making a skincare product.

Starting by putting pen to paper and researching my potential customers skin issue/s and lifestyle, then looking at what plant based oils and ingredients I can marry together to help create a formula.

Researching Ingredients and being very mindful who I buy them from and how they were produced.

Working out what percentage of each ingredient will be mixed together to create a skincare product, whether it be a cream, oil, serum or gel.

Once I am happy with my formula this is where I get to play with putting ingredients together to create a prototype. Checking how it feels on the skin, absorption and most importantly does what it will say on the tin!

I love the process of creating a product and sometimes a product needs refining before it is ready to sell.
