The Founder

Catherine is the founder and girl boss of Dinsdale & Co Skincare, a company that focuses on creating high quality skincare products that promote healthy skin, whilst being mindful of animals and the environment.

Based in Yorkshire producing all the products by hand, Catherine has the knowledge, creativity and care, to make Dinsdale skincare what it is today.

Before Skincare!

Catherine has worked as a makeup artist in film and television for 20 years in many locations around the world and before that was a beauty therapist for 3 years. Working with a variety of skin types and tones making sure her actors, actresses and presenters were camera ready.

Due to Catherine’s own issues with sensitive skin, she discovered natural skincare was the way to go. In 2010 she dived into learning all about plant based skincare, its amazing benefits for the skin. What a revelation, no more reactions and so the journey began making skincare in her kitchen at home in Yorkshire.

Even though Catherine is the driving force behind Dinsdale and Co she could not do anything without her amazing team!

As someone who has dealt with sensitive skin issues for years, she understands the frustration and discomfort that can come with it. That's why she poured her heart and soul into creating a boutique range of plant based skincare products that cater specifically to the needs of sensitive skin.

In February 2021 Dinsdale & Co Skincare launched a boutique range with sensitive skin in mind, from normal, dry, oily or combination. It was the start of an exciting journey.

Meet The Team

Catherine

Managing Director & Creative Rockstar

Hi when I’m not in my kitchen making skin creams and tonics, you will find me doing hair and makeup on various film or television productions (Witcher, Fantastical Beasts, Kings Speech, Cruella, Strike Back and many more), love being a mum to my 8 year old son Henry as well as being a foster mum to those placed in our care.

Steve is the man in my life and who is the one that keeps me striving and holds me up when times are tough (well…that’s when he is not playing cricket in the summer months! Haha)

I’m also mum to our cheeky dachshunds Daisy & Oscar and not to forget my unique spirited horse Cassia, these guys help me find my zen.

Loves: Love my family, horse riding, outdoor life, running, good food and a prosecco or two!

Steve

Chief Rockstar

He is my rock and the one that keeps me striving. When he is not teaching children with additional needs (real job), you will find him helping me labelling up bottles and jars, working out the calculations for my formulas, he is a whizz when it comes to the numbers!), best of all making sure there is wine or prosecco in the fridge ready for the weekend.

My world

He’s the one that helps keep life fun and reminds us life is for living. He’s a huge lover of nature and animals, music from all genres and den building (no moving item in the house is safe!)
